My other blazer is also an 86.The highest octain gas here in Mississippi is 93. I dont get it, its almost $5.00 a gallon.

ok the engine i am running is a 496 big block with solid roller cam aluminum heads and 1150 dominator.

Thanks for the comment. I wish i could aford EFI.Right now i just need to get rid of that 305 and take that rebiult 350,that is 6 years old but probly aint got 40 thousand miles on it,and put in it. The 350 is in my old blaze, trans is burnt up, I just use it for parts now.It looks like i went down a trail and hit every tree.I bought it 10 years ago and it wasn't pretty then.Keep riden and stay muddy!

thanks i have alot of money invested in my truck but its all worth it jimmy/blazers are all over in my family my brother in law has had a 91 that he rolled over a cliff to its death poor truck and now he has a 88 beater blazer not in very good shape but its a chevy so it goes anywhere and my brother has my old 87 jimmy that he beats to death and it never quits and last my dad has had all these years of blazer/jimmy 83 DIESEL, 86,76,91 i believe to many to count
