I found this truck behind a strip mall it had been sitting for two years and had been vandalized and the catilatic converter was stolen. I wanted it so i tracked down the owner and asked about it and she said it had a blown engine, I asked her how much she wanted for it. She sold me the truck for $250 and i was going to use it for a parts truck but first i thought i'd see what went wrong with it in the first place, checked the fluids and the timing belt, slaped in a battery and click click... 15 minutes and a new starter and it was running and driving! After that i decided since i got a great deal on this truck I didn't mind spending the money to catch it up on routine maintinance and repair a few other minor things that had been neglected, still needs a little work but it has cleaned up nicely and been a good truck so far.
