i just went through moving a rear axle if you get this before you start hacking on it i would suggest two other ideas. modifiy the frame only if you got a big welder like 220 stick. just cut it like an S shape or zig zag. the guys on trucks did it on and older truck so they could make a long bed pickup into a short bed. or you can modify the sheet metal which take a little more skill to make it look like it belongs but for me it makes more sense i only have a 110 mig welder.

oh yeah i have been to the dunes. silver lake is the reason im building the van. whenever we go i always have to ride with someone else. hopefully ill have it done by november 2nd so i can take it up this year.
