1972 Chevy 4x4, 250 6cyl soon to have refreshed 327 V8 This truck was purchased for $200.00. With many parts trucks, and a few body body parts from LMC, coffee, and dedication has been formed into what you see. Lots of custom work has been done to this truck from strengthening the frame, to custom shock mounts, front bumper, body work, and spray can paint job. All of these things add character to this truck. The most important, and priceless part of this project is the friends, and family that helped make it all possible. Should this truck be fortunate enough to make an issue of "4WHEEL & OFF-ROAD", I would like to thank those who helped. "Amos Babcock" Welder/Mechanic, "Dave Parise" Welder, and last but not least "John Reed" Father, who found the Camper Special with a hard to find decent eight foot bed before it became another statistic to the crusher.

I love them also! Helping brother on his recently started 72 GMC k10 Resto. I just wish more people were like us. I saved the one Camper Special for parts, but know of 2 recently crushed. With the high scrap value people are sending them.
