About my Cherokee

well i bought this XJ from a guy on Craigslist.com for $500. it had been sitting for a year and a half. he parked it because the motor was knocking and it kept overheating. when i went to buy it, i couldnt get it to start but it would turn over. i, at first, back out and my brother-in-law told me to just buy it and if all else fails we could just part it out. so i bought it and brought it home. the next day i changed the fuel pump and filter(they were so gummed up with funk)and cleaned the injectors. i finally got it to run. right away the knocking started and the overheating began. right then i realized it was THE WATER PUMP! i couldnt believe it! now this dude runs like a champ. i started trimming 7 inches off the front fenders and rolled the rear 2 inches.then i installed a 4.5 rough country full leaf lift with 2 inch coil spacers and blocks. next i installed 33x13.50 super swamper LTB with 15x10 black steels. when i was finished, i just sat back and starred with amazement. it feels so good to know you built your own ride. this is definitely my favorite build ive ever done. my next few purchases will involve front and rear lockers and some body armor.

The rolling job you did on the back looks pretty impressive I have to say. I've thought about doing that with my 4 door, but it just doesn't look do-able. The gut wrenching rubbing sound I hear coming from the back is something I've gotten use to. If you can give any advice on how to do the rolling, send it on.
