Rich's RANGER built by FORD plant in ST PAUL,MN. 1989. I got it as a Demo with 5000 miles on it,, it now has over 400,000 on the CAB, FRAME, it has had a few motors and Trans. Was converted to a Pre-Runner over the course of several years by High Definition Motorsports out of Murrieta, Southern California.
Oh Yea talking about transmissions, Never Ever Trust AMMCO i mean SKAMCO my last adventure left me stranded in Palm Springs near Whitewater blown trans. I took it to my AMMCO in TEMECULA CA. Only for the nationwide warranty, only to be told ONCE we had already pulled it, that because I had a MODIFIED OFF-ROAD vehicle they would not warranty the trans work... SO BEWARE MY FELLOW OFf-ROADERS CHECK BEFORE THEY GET YOU!!!! IT COST ME ALOT MORE THAN IT SHOULD OF!!!!!
Ok enough of that back to te details..

WOW!! Thats nice. I'm liking the bed. I am buying a ford ranger I beleive its a 1990 (same body style as yours) I didn't really look at it yet. I just pulled up asked them if they wanted to sell it and they said $200 and I said sold I'll be back in a week to pick it up. lol Kinda quick. But it runs and drives, its 4x4 and its not that rusty. So since i'm in the market for a base vehicle to begin a project. I took it. soo...My point is I want to know how you go about doing that to the bed. I kinda gather you need to make a tube frame system for it and cut the rest out, but do you have any specs or suggestions. I'mma do it all my self, I got a welder and know how to use it so. I don't want any shop work done on it. I want to do it all my self and with friends. Anything you have to offer would be greatly appreciated. Josh
