About my K3500

Home built truck from bare frame added dana 60 front 14 bolt rear 5:13 gears and lockers.also disc brakes on all corners. Rancho front springs home grown rear packs for a total of 10" lift.A divorced 205 transfer with twin stick shifter and a  turbo400 trans with a manuel kit and a 4000 stall converter transfers power from the big rat motor. A reworked 454  stuffed under the hood takes air in threw a race demon carb and an edelbrock victor intake and comp cams roller valve train then fired with a complete msd ingnition system and the spent gasses flow threw hooker headers and flow master mufflers and 3" exaust before dumping threw 5" stacks.Custom ladder bars front and rear keep torqeue under control and keep the 39.5x18x15 boggers on 14" wide  32 bolt allied bead locks transfering the power to the ground and me and my sweet gmc moving forward!!  the truck rocks everywhere we go lots of fun and it turns heads!The wife drove in a mud bog now says I have to make steer better so will install hydraulic steering will post picks

Sweet rig brother, I just wish i had the utilities to build my own rig from scratch. *** even the army doesnt pay me enough money to do what i want to "Big Nasty"

Sweet!Years ago I built a 66 chevy on a 80 model 3/4 ton chassis,400 sbc.Love yours,makes me wish I had never gotten rid of mine.

nice rig, an ollder friend of mine took the exact year and model but retored it from gound up and did a deisel swap, ill have to put up a pick sometime when i get any time, lol. keeps the wheels spinnin buddy.

thanks for the comment actually we just took in out for the first time in port huron absolutly no lack of power at all then around 8500 in 3 gear my front drive shaft and both rear axle shafts blew up so now im putting 1410 u joints in the front and borring the rear 60 tubes to fit 70 35 spline shafts and a bigger spool in
